“Keep reading. It's one of the most marvellous adventures that anyone can have.”
The Book Activist was founded by Victoria Dilly, who has been a school librarian for over ten years working with children aged 2 - 18 years, in state and independent schools. Prior to this she worked in events management, organising corporate and charity events across a range of industries. Victoria believes everyone has the potential to discover reading for pleasure and utilises her wide ranging experience and knowledge of children’s literature to positively impact the reading habits of children and young people. Through The Book Activist’s various activities and events she aims to empower children and young people to discover a lifelong love of stories.
The Book Activist:
Encourages children to develop a love for stories.
Provides families with ideas to help children get into reading and creative writing.
